Today’s Role Model is Milan Moffatt. Milan is an NYC-based designer, educator and mentor leading all things design at SuperHi, an online code and design school for creative people. Previously, she worked at a small digital agency in Brooklyn called Ronik Design. Before that she was eating alfajores and working with early stage startups in Santiago, Chile. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, meditating, practicing yoga, and working on her side project, Type Party.
Today’s Tech Role Model is Jinjin Sun. Jinjin a freelance product designer who illustrates on the side. She began her career thinking she was going to be a scientist like her parents and even majored in cognitive science in college. Later, she ended up switching tracks right after graduation and going into digital design. She did user experience design for four years at Huge before going freelance last year. In her spare time, if she’s not drawing then Jinjin loves knitting, reading, and hiking.
Today’s Tech Role Model is Ari Melenciano. Ari is a multidisciplinary artist, designer, creative technologist, researcher and DJ. She’s passionate about exploring how different forms of design impact the human experience. She entered the tech world a few years ago as a graduate student of New York University’s Interactive Telecommunications Program and has been mind-blown of all the capabilities, ever since.
Today’s Role Model is Chantel Zapata Pray. Chantel currently works as a Senior Product Designer at WW (Weight Watchers) where she enjoys bringing data-driven, user-centered solutions to complex problems. After graduating from Parsons School of Design, she started her career as an Art Director, working with clients such as Amazon, Marvel, and Scholastic Inc.
